Over the years doing portrait photography I've photographed many families especially. Its like therapy when you see your family portraits because it shows you all the beauty you have created in life and everything you have worked so hard for. As a family portrait photographer its my job to create an experience where you all interact together, to guide you into good positions to capture your best side, to ensure the shots are natural, and that there is a variety of shots including close ups. A few tips I offer are to relax and have fun, wear clothes you feel good in and not too alike as to blend together too much. Usually I like to do family shoots outdoors in a relaxed natural setting, although I will also come to your home or yard to offer the most comfortable experience possible. This shoot was from the summer and was so fun! This couple has younger children and I loved capturing them all at the same level by having the adults kneel down to their level or to lift the kids into the adult level. I also love the shots that are so natural where the kids are running around the parents just being themselves, and all I have to do is tell the parents to love on each other.
