I'm a free-spirited wedding and portrait photographer living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I love photography, the outdoors, and adventuring around Oregon. I've lived in the Eugene area for over 2 decades and know the area well and many great places to shoot portraits. My journey in digital photography and blogging began over 10 years ago when I decided to start a fashion blog. I began taking fashion portraits for the local Eugene boutiques (Due Donne, Melange, and Freudian Slip). Fashion photography taught me not only how to be an expert shooter, but also how to pose and express models, show movement of fabrics, how to style and use the local environment to create captivating images for social media and websites. From there people began to ask me to take their portrait and cover weddings. I shot my first wedding in 2013 and a true passion for portrait and story telling photography came forth into my life. I use the latest mirrorless canon digital camera equipment, and pride myself on staying at the cutting edge of technology and trends in shooting and editing. I am able to combine natural light with additional lighting to handle a variety of situations. Most importantly, I am able to guide individuals and groups into natural, flattering positions and interactions in order to create meaningful, artistic portraits. My social network is a combination of clients, friends, and other photographers who respect and support each other.
